Corda II was born on the 20th of December 2016 during the performance Nodi. Four volunteers were tied up with one circular rope. They were then instructed to each individually free themselves. Once freed, they cut the rope into four different pieces and each made a knot on their segment of the rope. In this way the four artworks came to life. The four artworks were then exhibited alongside their legal agreements. The legal agreements state that the owner of the artwork must undo the knot made during the performance during the first year of his ownership.
The second year he must apply two knots.
The third year he will have to undo the previous knots.
The following year he will add three knots, and so on until the rope is filled with knots.
